This is to invite you to "My life through the lens" photography exhibition and fundraising by and for
migrant children living in Shanghai. 

 

In the past 18 months, 120 migrant children living on the edge of Shanghai attended basic
photography lessons taught by volunteers from New York Institute of Photography, Cisco and GE.
Their passion for capturing beautiful moments and incredible talent, not only impressed all the
volunteers, even the children themselves were pleasantly surprised. The children not only learned
basic photography techniques, they gained more confidence in expressing themselves and sharing
feelings through their lenses. 

 

51 best pictures were selected by teachers and ranked by five renowned

professional photographers, senior photography professors and editors. 

 

Please come and take a look at these pictures. Although they were taken with simplest cameras,
they are charming, rich and full of emotions. It is not difficult to fall in love with the children behind the
lenses. 

 

All income from selling tickets and photos are used to support more

photography lessons and migrant children in coming semesters.
