Invited by the committee of 2011 PSAChina International Exhibition of Photography, Mr. John Davis, President of PSA, visited the headquarters of PSA China with other judges in Beijing, China, on 12th, October, 2011. This was the first visit of the top leader of PSA to its branch outside America in the history.
Ms. Li Wang, Vice-President of PSA China and leader of SEEC, introduced the basic information about SEEC to Mr. John Davis and reported the work of PSA China on the development of PSA members. They had a meaningful communication on the development of PSA in China.
Mr. John Davis was invited to be the judge of 2011 PSAChina International Exhibition of Photography which was the first international exhibition held by PSA China in Beijing and recognized by PSA.
During staying in China, Mr. John Davis went to Ejin Banner (Inner Mongolia), Xiapu (Fujian) and the Jinshanling Great Wall with other 20 leaders and top photographers from PSA on 14th - 30th, October.
Mr. John Davis was appointed as the new president on the 73th annual conference of PSA in October, 2011. The trip had a positive and profound meaning on the photographic exchange between China and America.
