I’m sure you’ll find that membership in PSA will provide you with many opportunities to hone your photographic skills. If you haven't already joined one of the Electronic Imaging Division's Study Groups, I’d like to tell you about this wonderful aspect of PSA. Each group is made up of seven members who electronically submit a photograph to their group’s administrator each month explaining how they have created the image or enhanced it by utilizing computer software. Later in the month, each member offers comments or suggestions about their teammates’ work. You will find that your knowledge of photographic techniques will grow tremendously as you take part in these activities, and the camaraderie of your teammates will inspire you to increased success. We have also established a Study Group comprised of people who are experienced in Corel Painter. This group focuses on images that employ techniques from that program. Another new group is for those individuals who specialize in monochromatic work. Please let us know if either of these groups might be in your realm of experience. We also have a need for Study Group Administrators. If you have some computer skills and the ability to upload images and text to a web site, we would also invite you to head your own Study Group by becoming an administrator. By clicking on the link at the bottom of this page, you’ll be able to see current Study Group activity. But by joining a Study Group yourself, you will experience the greatest benefits.
