How to enter in an International Exhibition?

Entering an International Exhibition competition is extremely easy. The following summarizes the procedures:

• Obtain an entry form from the International Exhibition that you plan to enter from PSA web site or from the sponsor of that International Exhibition.
• Select four digital images, slides or prints for each section (have not been accepted in that International Exhibition section before) you wish to enter. 
• Complete the entry form.
• Submit the entry fee as prescribed in the entry form and complete the labels (if included) for report card, catalog, return of slides and next year's entry form.
• Pack and Mail your entry well in advance to allow it time to arrive before its closing date.
• In some of the international exhibitions, you can even submit your entries on-line completely.
• About a week after the judging you will receive an email or a report card with your results.
• Accepted entries should be returned a few days after the "accepted entries mailed by ..." date on the entry form.
• An International Exhibition catalog will be usually mailed about eight weeks after the public exhibition or some International Exhibitions pose an electronic copy in their web site for downloading directly. When the catalog arrives, check the listings for possible errors. If any errors are found, contact its Salon chairman for a correction.

Keep a record of your International Exhibition acceptances. This is indispensable for checking for previous acceptances in an International Salon, and for applying for the PSA Star Ratings and its photographic honors of “PPSA” or “EPSA” later.

其实参加一个国际摄影展览的竞赛是非常容易的，非PSA会员亦可参加，以下为主要步骤：
1.从PSA网站或该国际摄影展览的赞助方获得参加展览的申请表。
2.为您想参加的每一个竞赛单元选择4 幅数码照片、幻灯片或洗印出的照片，请注意这些作品应是此前未入选该展览竞赛单元的作品。
3.填写申请表。
4.缴纳申请表上所注明的报名费，并填写其它可能需要的材料，如报告卡、画册上的标签及来年的申请表。
5.在申请截止前尽早邮寄出您的申请。
6.在某些国际摄影展览，整个申请可在网上完成。
7.在评审后约一周，您将收到一份电子邮件或报告卡通知您结果。
8.入围作品通常将在申请表上所标示的“入围作品寄回时间”后几天内寄到。
9.国际摄影展览的画册通常在展览后8 周内寄出；有些国际摄影展览会在网站上提供电子版直接下载。当收到画册时，请检查有无错误。若有错误,请与该沙龙主席联系以更正。
10.请保存您的国际摄影展览入围记录。这些记录对于核查您的作品以往在国际沙龙的入选情况，和申请PSA星级评分以及PPSA、EPSA摄影荣誉非常重要。
